TMT Certification Levels Explained

Level 1
TMT Professional Shinrin Yoku Guide

Students who enroll in the 15-week Shinrin Yoku online training program via The Mindful Space are awarded with TMT Professional Shinrin Yoku Guide Level 1, upon successful completion of training modules and assignments.

Once you are certified in Level 1, you are eligible to:

  • professionally guide Forest Bathing groups
  • incorporate deep nature connection and awareness elements into other wellness modalities and to your practices, to bring a new level of healing to your clients
  • participate in TMT internship program
  • open and operate a TMT retreat, with our support

Level 2
TMT Professional Shinrin Yoku Instructor

Students who attend the live in-forest Shinrin Yoku Training in Japan or Shinrin Yoku Training in Thailand are awarded with TMT Professional Shinrin Yoku Guide Level 2, upon successful completion of training modules and assignments.

If training at our locations is not convenient, you can opt for our TMT Online Forest Bathing Instructor Certification Training which will give you the same level of qualification.

Once you are certified in Level 2, in addition to Level 1, you are eligible for:

  • use TMT curriculum and award students with The Mindful Tourist certificates
  • be a part of TMT Connected Community and own a TMT retreat or training center
  • get an internship opportunity at one of our training programs in Japan or Thailand
  • obtain the right to use The Mindful Tourist’s name to leverage business – “The Mindful Tourist – (your hometown)”
    • “The Mindful Tourist – (your hometown)” will be featured on our website, increasing the chance of being discovered on the internet and get sign ups
    • Get an access to our IT team to design web page on The Mindful Tourist website
  • the right to allow access to the training modules and assignments on The Mindful Space to students
  • create your own Forest Bathing business, with our guidance
