Forest bathing (in Japanese, Shinrin-yoku), is about taking in nature through all our senses. We learn to slow down and to see the forest in a different way, which supports our health and brings a feeling of calmness, connection and peace.
Several studies have shown that an adequate practice of forest bathing can reduce stress, anxiety and depression, as well as improve vision, give a boost in the immune system, among other benefits. It is more than expected, since we belong to nature, right?
