Priscilla Cubo

TMT Shinrin Yoku Guide & Instructor, MSc in Forestry

Priscilla Cubo is a forest engineer and founder of Joyful Solutions. She is Brazilian-Japanese living in Sweden, a yoga practitioner, an energy healer and a karate teacher. As a complete nature-lover, she likes to learn about natural living such as the use of essential oils for medicinal purposes.

She also loves to learn new healthy vegan recipes, especially when it involves forest food. Having her bachelor and master’s degree in forestry, she learned many things about nature consevation as well as forest management. But it was when she found out about shinrin-yoku that she really open her eyes to see nature in a more holitic way, as pieces of a puzzle in her life were assembled.

Her passion for shinrin-yoku only increased, so much that Priscilla is currently a certified instructor through TMT! She is also an environmental and climate change advisor in a NGO in Sweden, that supports developing countries to fight poverty.

She dedicates her career to causes she believes, especially when it comes to bringing awareness to people about the importance of taking care of nature and connecting with it in a deeper level. Bringing her diverse background about forest to the trainings, Priscilla creates an environment where students are encouraged to explore many possibilities and their own ways to do shinrin-yoku!

A Message from TMT Head Instructor

Milena The Mindful Tourist Co Founder and Creative Director

Because we believe that a Forest Bathing session is more than just a hike in the woods or a hug of trees, our sessions are usually used as a tool to connect with clients on a more profound level. When this connection happens, it is a golden opportunity to use your passions to transform lives. It is not uncommon for a client to share chronic health complaints, deep personal struggles or detrimental stress during a session, however we have to remember that a Shinrin Yoku Guide is not a therapist.  By learning how to respond appropriately, trust and a meaningful connection is established.
