“There aren’t enough words to describe how precious and potent this training program was for me. Not only did the training open up possibilities for my professional career as an Ecopsychologist, but for the caretaking of my soul as well. The weekly invitations (beautifully curated) asked me to explore the depths of my connection with nature and allowed me to see myself and my purpose in a whole new light.
This course (and my inspiring cohort) pushed me to begin a practice that I have not had the courage to do before. After the program, I feel competent, prepared, encouraged, supported and connected to begin my own Shinrin Yoku retreats and private practice. I truly feel that within the last 15 weeks, I have created a wonderful thing out of nothing. I went from having an interest in Shinrin Yoku to creating a website and leading others into natural spaces on my own. For this, I am truly grateful.
I will miss the time spent in class bouncing ideas off of each other and sharing intimate stories of the forest together. I will miss the compassionate leadership of our instructor, Milena. But i know that the community that was fostered throughout the program will remain for the rest of my life.”
