Journey Through Life With the Wisdom of the Forest
Priyat N. is the owner of a resort in Kangsopa subdistrict, Wangthong district, Phitsanulok, Thailand. He is a Shinrin Yoku Guide and a specialist at Wanathara Crafts Tie-Dye Studio. Priyat holds a PhD in Pharmacy from the Department of Pharmacy Practice, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Naresuan University, Phitsanulok, Thailand.
At his resort, Priyat offers Shinrin Yoku sessions that focus on sensory experiences and the healing power of nature. Activities include grounding, breathing exercises, mindful walking, and tasting local foods in serene locations like riversides and bamboo groves. The resort also features a studio for eco-printing and natural dyeing workshops, where fabrics are dyed using natural extraction methods without chemicals.
For Priyat, the forest represents a sanctuary for both physical and mental well-being. It is a place where one can reconnect with nature, find peace, and rejuvenate the soul. The forest’s natural beauty and tranquility offer a therapeutic environment that inspires a deeper connection to the natural world.

“This course was my first “back to school” experience in five years. Initially, I was concerned about fitting it into my busy schedule, but it quickly became the highlight of my week. I began to see nature from new perspectives and discovered opportunities I hadn’t noticed before. The course was incredibly enriching, and I was inspired by conversations with classmates from around the world.
I learned how forests can heal us in numerous ways. Practicing forest bathing has allowed me to reconnect with old friends and meet new ones. It’s a magnificent way to foster a love for and protection of nature.
Thank you to everyone involved. Each session was inspiring and provided opportunities for profound personal growth.”
