Meet our Shinrin Yoku Guide - Klaudyna

Klaudyna Andrijewska is a psychodietitian, educator, sexual health educator, and certified forest bathing guide. Her approach and practice align with the ethical code of our International Shinrin Yoku Association, which can be found here: Shinrin Yoku Association Code of Conduct.

For Klaudyna, the forest is her home. It is a sanctuary that protects her and provides a place for her to be with her family. The forest has helped her understand and build her relationship with nature. It serves as her guardian and refuge, often acting as a mirror reflecting her world and a window to other worlds. The forest gives her a paradoxical sense of being both less important and more significant. Within it, she feels part of a whole, and in a sense, she disappears, but the beauty of this whole becomes a building block in fostering her self-worth.

Klaudyna invites you on a journey into the depths of nature and yourself. She aims to help you seek connection with nature, acceptance, and gratitude, so you can joyfully experience the power of existence.

“I feel like I’ve traversed a long and fruitful journey. Ahead of me lies a broad perspective for development that excites me. I know I’ve done something good for myself. I certainly understand and appreciate my connection with nature more deeply now. The significance of this relationship has shifted more to the center of my being. I now have a confidence in prioritizing nature in my life. I’ve always sensed that the forest is something extraordinary and important. Today, I have no doubts about it. By nurturing my bond with nature, I also better understand myself, my needs, and concerns. I’ve learned to accept myself as I am. I enter the forest, which demands nothing from me and fully accepts me. I am becoming a forest bathing guide because I’ve learned to harness my potential, not because I’ve become someone else. I’m not sure if I can explain it well 🙂 Of course, there is still a lot of work, continuous challenges, and growth ahead. But this is possible precisely because I have accepted myself. I have found the space to realize my values.

I thank myself immensely for the courage. I am not someone who easily enters new situations; I tend to be shy. Entering a new, challenging situation required a leap into deep water. I thank myself for listening to my intuition, as it led me here.

The most pleasant moments were our meetings. An extraordinary space to share and be oneself. Following the path of my own development was also beautiful. A breakthrough moment for me was when I believed I could dance with the trees. I stopped censoring myself and felt that everything was possible. I followed my heart.

It’s hard for me to view the course in terms of failures and successes. If a failure is not preparing the flyer on time (because I didn’t know how), then a success is learning how to do it during a meeting and having the flyer ready for printing 🙂

Success, to me, is betting on myself and pursuing my desires.

Thank you for the shared time and the beautiful space to share. The opportunity to change perspective and search for oneself in diversity was wonderful. Each of us brought something very important and valuable to the meetings; it was a great adventure to participate in this. Thank you very much for allowing me to feel that I am not alone in my view of the natural world.

Milena, thank you for your professionalism and empathy, for your openness and full presence with us. You are amazing, and I am very happy to have encountered you on my path. I really enjoyed the platform and tasks, which I feel drained me in a good way, encouraging reflection. Thank you for your insightful observations and comments. Thank you for opening doors for me that I sensed existed but didn’t have the courage to seek out on my own. Thanks to you, every look out the window today has a different value. I think the course gave me the courage to follow my view of the world and choose what is important from my perspective. I probably can’t fully put into words all the benefits flowing from you. Thank you very much for so beautifully accompanying another person in their development. Your presence is invaluable. Thank you.”
