Terms and Conditions for The Mindful Tourist: 森の心・人の心 NPO Discount Offer
Eligibility: This offer is exclusively available to Non-Profit Organizations (NPOs) that are officially recognized and in good standing in their respective countries. Eligibility is contingent upon the NPO’s mission aligning with environmental conservation, mental health, community enrichment, or similar fields.
Application Process: Interested NPOs must submit a formal application through our designated platform. The application must include the organization’s legal name, proof of non-profit status, a description of the organization’s mission, past projects, and a detailed plan on how the training will be utilized.
Discount Rate: A discount of 30% off the regular price is offered for two specific training programs: The non-self paced 15-week Online Shinrin-Yoku Guide Training and the 10-week Online + 5-day Immersion Training in Japan. This discount applies only to the program fees and is non-refundable.
Selection Process: Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Selection will be based on the alignment of the NPO’s mission with our goals, the potential impact of the training on the organization’s work, and the completeness of the application. “The Mindful Tourist: 森の心・人の心” reserves the right to request additional information or documentation as part of the review process.
Use of Training: The discounted training must be used for the purposes outlined in the application. Post-training, the NPO agrees to provide feedback on the training’s impact and, if possible, share success stories or outcomes resulting from the application of the training.
Confidentiality: Any information provided during the application process will be treated with confidentiality and will not be disclosed to third parties without the organization’s consent, except as required by law.
Limitations: The discount cannot be combined with other offers or discounts and is non-transferable. The discount is only valid for the training sessions specified in the offer and cannot be applied to other courses or services provided by “The Mindful Tourist: 森の心・人の心”.
Cancellation Policy: If an NPO is unable to participate in the training after being selected, notification must be provided at least four weeks before the start of the program to receive a a partial refund of 30%. Cancellations made less than four weeks prior to the start date is not subject to the refund.
Changes to Terms and Conditions: “The Mindful Tourist: 森の心・人の心” reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to participating organizations in advance.

Description of Past Projects: Summarize past or ongoing projects, initiatives, or programs that demonstrate your commitment to your mission. Highlight any achievements or impacts from these activities.
Plan for Utilizing the Training: Outline how you intend to use the knowledge and skills gained from the training within your organization or community. Be specific about the programs, initiatives, or activities that will benefit from the training.
Promotional Agreement: Confirm your willingness to engage in mutual promotional activities, including website sharing, social media collaboration, and any other marketing or visibility efforts agreed upon.
Contact Person: Designate a contact person within your organization who can be reached for any follow-up questions or coordination.
Who & Which Training: Specify how many people, information of persons who will participate in the training, and which training.
